Under the direction of the Deputy County Manager, the purpose of the position is to plan, organize, guide, and coordinate the County's sustainability initiatives within the organization and throughout the County. Employee in this classification functions in a senior executive capacity, and is responsible for ensuring adherence to, and compliance with, all applicable County, State, and Federal code and regulatory requirements applicable to the work.

Minimum Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's Degree in Urban Planning, Community Development, Public Administration, Business Administration, Environmental Science, Sustainable Business, or related field required.
Experience : Six (6) years of professional experience in the field of urban sustainability in government, business, consulting, nonprofit, and / or academic sectors, including two (2) years of supervisory experience. Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university may be substituted for two (2) years of experience.
Miscellaneous : Must possess and Maintain a valid Florida Driver's License
