JOB SUMMARY
As a Salesforce Administrator, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing the Salesforce platform for the organization. You will work closely with stakeholders, developers, and architects to ensure the successful delivery of scalable and sustainable Salesforce solutions. Acting as a system expert, you will oversee the user management, data integrity, automation, security, system integrations, and reporting in support of multiple business units. This role requires a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, strong technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Manage user setup, permissions, and security settings within Salesforce.
Customize Salesforce objects, fields, record types, page layouts, workflows, validation rules, and automated tools.
Set up new products and configurations.
Ensure data accuracy through deduplication, cleansing, and enforcing data governance best practices.
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and list views to support business insights.
Support salesforce integrations with third party applications and other internal systems inclusive of ERPs, marketing tools, and payment systems.
Follow established DevOps policies and procedures.
Provide user training, support, and documentation to improve adoption and efficiency.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements.
Stay informed about new Salesforce releases and evaluate their potential impact on the organization's Salesforce instances.

REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
2 years of proven experience in a Salesforce Administrator Role.
Salesforce Administrator certification.
CPQ experience.
Extensive Salesforce declarative development experience including Flow, Lightning App Builder, and Approval Processes.
Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, integrated reporting, and form tools.
Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, customization, and development.
Experience managing and triaging user submitted issues through ticketing systems.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
PREFERRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
NPSP experience.
Salesforce Platform App Builder certification or other equivalent qualifications.
Knowledge of MuleSoft and NetSuite.
Familiarity with Agentforce.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position works in an office setting environment.
Typical working hours are 8:30 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with an hour lunch break.
Generally, a climate-controlled environment with occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions when attending aviation related events, including exposure to higher altitudes and confined spaces if in a general aviation aircraft.
This position requires some travel, possibly up to 5% of the time, to various general aviation or industry-related events. Travel is by aircraft (general aviation and commercial) and by road or public transit.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands of the position are typical of a standard office environment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly be required to:
Sit for extended periods while working at a computer or attending meetings.
Use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
This position is located at AOPA’s Frederick, MD headquarters.
The salary range for this position is: $75,000 - $87,000, depending on education and experience.
