Role: ServiceNow Developer
Location: Boston MA- Onsite
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications, modules, and integrations based on business requirements.
Customize ServiceNow platform features, including form design, workflows, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Scheduled Jobs.
Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Create and maintain ServiceNow components including Service Catalog, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and CMDB (Configuration Management Database).
Develop ServiceNow integrations with third-party tools and applications using REST/SOAP web services, MID Server, and other integration technologies.
Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning to optimize ServiceNow applications.
Ensure adherence to development standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
Provide technical support, training, and mentoring to junior developers and administrators.
Participate in agile development cycles, ensuring timely delivery of development tasks and maintaining high-quality deliverables.
Work with the ServiceNow administration team to deploy changes and configurations from development to production.
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with strong technical knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, applications, and scripting.
Strong experience in ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, and CMDB.
Expertise in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript, AngularJS) and experience in developing server-side and client-side scripts.
Experience with ServiceNow integration tools such as SOAP, REST, and MID Server.
Familiarity with ServiceNow ITIL processes and best practices.
Strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and ServiceNow data structures.
Experience with ServiceNow reporting, dashboards, and performance analytics.
Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD processes.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
