Position Overview:
As the Front Desk Clerk at AOS Rentals, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, making you the face of the company. This position is vital for creating a positive experience for clients and visitors while managing day-to-day administrative tasks. You will also assist with accounting functions using QuickBooks Online, including billing, invoicing, and payments. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, as well as experience using QuickBooks Online.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers, contractors, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer incoming calls, address inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate personnel.
- Process equipment rental requests, ensuring timely and accurate scheduling and paperwork.
- Manage billing, invoicing, and payment processing through QuickBooks Online.
- Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and rental agreements.
- Coordinate equipment inventory and availability with the operations team to ensure smooth delivery and pickup schedules.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office.
- Handle general administrative duties such as filing, email correspondence, and office supplies management.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Resolve customer inquiries or concerns efficiently, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Support management with other tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience with QuickBooks Online is required.
- Previous experience in customer service or a front desk role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other office equipment.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
- Knowledge of the oil & gas or construction industries is a plus.
