Job Summary: The primary purpose of this job position is to prepare food in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, with our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Head Cook, Team Leader and/or Director of Dining Service to assure that quality food service is provided at all times. Under the supervision of the Team Leader is responsible for hot food preparation, including accompaniment and garnishes.

-At least 6 months experience in the food service industry

- Responsible for hot food preparation, including accompaniments and garnishes
- Prepares hot entrees, soups and vegetables following preparation sheets and provided recipes for dining room service, healthcare center, cafeteria and special functions.
- Completes food temperature checks each meal. Tastes all food items prepared
- Follows safety and sanitation rules and practices.
