Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Disaster Relief Superintendent to oversee Remodels and New Construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the construction process are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project specifications. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple teams while maintaining high standards of quality control.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project timelines.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Utilize construction management software such as Buildertrend, Quickbase, Company Cam for project tracking and reporting.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Manage the scheduling of labor and equipment to optimize productivity on-site.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during the construction process, utilizing tools such as an ohmmeter when necessary.
- Maintain thorough documentation of project progress, including change orders and daily logs.
Skills
- Strong understanding of contract management principles and practices.
- Experience with pipeline construction and related activities is preferred.
- Excellent supervisory skills with a proven track record of leading diverse teams effectively.
- Knowledge of quality control processes within the construction industry.
