Overview
AP Electric is currently seeking a Warehouse Transportation Coordinator to join our team - this is a fulltime position 8:00 am to 5:00 pm - Monday - Friday. This job does not involve weekend work.
Must live within 25 miles of job to allow for commuting daily.
Relocation assistant will not be provided.

Responsibilities
The Warehouse Transportation Coordinator is responsible for administering transportation in the Shipping Department.
Daily activities include identifying consolidation opportunities, quoting via a TMS system, scheduling, documentation and freight bill exception auditing and approval.
Coordinating and scheduling daily transportation needs.
Summarize shipments for carriers picking up multiple orders.
Ensuring high service levels on tendered shipments (tracking and monitoring to delivery).
Fielding internal customer service requests and inquiries.
Rate-shopping non-standard orders for sales quotation/bid purposes.
Communicating with customers on orders and payment processing.
Warehouse administration support on some occasions to help with orders.
Qualifications

Verbal and written communication skills.
Transportation experience within a warehouse would be helpful.
Ability to use Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking.
Ability to effectively communicate with internal customers and external customers/vendors.
*Training will be provided to familiarize the person with the functions of the job over the first few weeks of employment.
Please Note – Currently, AP Electric & Generators LLC does not offer a standard healthcare plan but does offer an ICHRA, individual coverage health reimbursement arrangement. AP Electric & Generators, LLC does provide a reimbursement of $300 per monthly or $3600 annually on the plan offered.
We do offer a retirement saving plan with a 3% match on the contribution.
