The successful candidate will work on challenging and diverse tasks for projects related to environmental due diligence, and soil and groundwater contaminant investigation and remediation for a variety of clients, from small local businesses up to Fortune 100/500 companies across the country.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information to callers
- Bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks
- Management of fleet vehicles maintenance and upkeep
- Perform general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and transcribing
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Provide administrative support to staff members as needed
- Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Assist with team event planning and coordination
- Assist with Human Resources tasks
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of QuickBooks or willingness to learn
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Experience in customer support or receptionist role is a plus
