Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Truck Rental Location Manager to join our Fleet team! This onsite position is based at a dealership in the Oklahoma City area and offers an exciting career opportunity in the commercial vehicle rental and leasing industry.
Ideal candidates will bring experience in vehicle rental and leasing, with a preference for knowledge of bucket trucks and light-to-medium duty trucks. Reporting to the Senior Director of Business Development, the Rental Location Manager will be integral to the success of our Truck Rental Division. This role focuses on daily rental operations, customer engagement, vehicle management, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Rental Operations: Manage daily onsite rental transactions, including opening/closing contracts, answering inquiries, taking reservations, and performing vehicle walkarounds to document condition at delivery and return.
- Client Engagement: Serve as a knowledgeable resource in the truck rental industry, addressing client questions, identifying rental opportunities, and fostering strong relationships with customers and partners.
- Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with transportation partners to schedule vehicle deliveries and pickups efficiently.
- Vehicle Readiness: Ensure all vehicles are maintained and ready to rent, including tracking maintenance, plating, decal application, telematics installation, and managing vehicle upfits or damage repairs with dealers and body shops.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, transport partners, and dealership personnel. Attend local client meetings as needed.
- Industry Representation: Represent the company at industry events and trade shows to network and generate leads (limited travel required).
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in commercial vehicle leasing, preferably with exposure to bucket trucks and light-to-medium duty vehicles.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and results-driven approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adaptability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.
Location and Work Environment
- Work Location: 11001 W Reno Ave, Yukon, OK 73099
- Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. * There may be an occasional need to work past 5pm if a delivery is expected to arrive late. This would be scheduled in advance.
Compensation Package
Overall Plan: Salary Commission
Comp Target: $100,000-$125,000 depending on experience and performance
