Job Summary:
Performs moderately complex technical functions in support of audio visual and video teleconferencing infrastructure such as set up, operation, maintenance, configuration, modification, functionality enhancement, circuit testing, calibration and troubleshooting of components and systems.
Job Details:
8-10 years of IT experience
Design, Install, and Maintain Plan, install, configure, and maintain a wide range of audio-visual and video conferencing equipment, including projectors, displays, cameras, microphones, speakers, and control systems.
Troubleshoot and Resolve Technical Issues, Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems related to AV/VTC hardware, software, and network connectivity.
This includes identifying and rectifying malfunctions, performing system checks, and ensuring optimal system performance.
System Upgrades and Enhancements: Implement upgrades, modifications, and enhancements to existing AV/VTC systems, including software updates, system expansions, and integration with new technologies.
Proactive Maintenance and Support: Conduct regular preventative maintenance checks, perform system calibrations, and provide ongoing technical support to end-users.
Change Management and Documentation: Manage system changes effectively, adhering to change management procedures. Maintain detailed system documentation, including schematics, diagrams, and user manuals.
Project Involvement and Collaboration: Participate in special projects, research and evaluate new AV/VTC technologies, and collaborate with other IT and facilities teams to ensure seamless system integration
Required skills:
Bachelor s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience.
8-10 years of experience.
AMX Certified Expert (ACE) in system design and programming is preferred.
ITIL V3 Foundation (required)
CCNA level knowledge required
Applicable CISCO Video Teleconference certification is desired
A minimum of six to eight years of relevant technical experience in the administration, troubleshooting and management of complex audio visual and video teleconferencing systems is required.
