The Thermoforming Machine Operator will be responsible for securing molds, loading plastic, programming machines & forming finished goods.

JOB Duties
· Program and run all thermoforming machines
· Load and secure all molds to thermoforming machine and be able to demonstrate to others
· Load plastic onto the thermoforming machine for forming and be able to demonstrate to others
· Troubleshoot thermoforming machine issues and be able to notify appropriate managers of issues
· Follow all maintenance schedules for all thermoforming machines
· Utilize safe operations of thermoforming machines
· Verify molds and raw material against work orders
· Verify quality of products that are acceptable to AP Thermoforming standards
· Adhere to all safety rules regarding the use of thermoforming machines
· Continue to learn about new thermoforming techniques
· Follow all schedules provided by APT Production Manager & Scheduler
· Work on other job functions of APT, as required, if vacuum-forming work is not available
· Perform all work in a safe manner; use required safety equipment including, but not limited to, guards, shields, eye protection, steel toes, etc.
· Continuously strive to improve efficiency in the work area and the facility at large and be willing to participate in shop meetings (OSHA, safety, production and benefits) and training programs sponsored by the company
· Maintain a positive work attitude and cooperate with fellow employees
Physical Demands
· Heavy (exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects)
· Excellent hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination
· The ability to safely use industrial machinery and power tools
Qualifications & Skills
· High school graduate is required
· Mechanical skills required
· Attention to detail
· Ability to communicate effectively with others

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
