Essential Functions
- According to expertise, primary focus in Communication coursework. Preference to applicants with secondary focus in Public Relations or Journalism coursework. Courses taught may include Interpersonal Communication, Civil Discourse and the Common Good, Communication Theory & Research, Group Dynamics, Nonverbal Communication, Public Speaking, Intercultural Communication, Conflict Resolution, and Communication Ethics.
- Participate in University service, faculty development programs, and student advising.
- Develop and deliver interdisciplinary courses.
- Contribute to scholarly and / or proprietary activity.
- Integrate Christian faith and pedagogy.
- Oversee experiential learning projects with external organizations, such as internships and senior capstone campaign.
