POSITION : Assistant Professor of Journalism and Communication
TITLE : Assistant Professor, Tenure Track
START DATE : August 2025

QUALIFICATIONS :
Successful candidates will provide evidence of the following qualifications :
Required :
- Master’s degree in journalism, video production, communication studies, or related field
- College-level teaching experience or five years professional experience in any of the following : multimedia journalism, broadcast production, professional videography, composition or a closely related field
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver introductory and upper-level courses in journalism, broadcast production, and communication studies
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups / populations

Successful candidates will also have a demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity, inclusion, and multicultural competence in an educational and work environment and must be willing to support the College’s mission and contribute to the strategic plan .
