Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Maintenance Technician to join our team in managing the upkeep and maintenance of our apartment complex. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of maintenance skills, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical work, HVAC systems, carpentry, and general repairs. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall functionality, safety, and aesthetics of the property.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of the apartment complex to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including repairing plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and fixtures.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and systems to extend their lifespan.
- Respond to maintenance requests from residents and property management in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all maintenance activities.
- Assist in the preparation of vacant units for new residents, including painting and renovations.
- Participate in on-call emergency maintenance issues outside of regular working hours.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
- Competency in plumbing, electrical work, HVAC systems, carpentry, and appliance repair.
- Ability to use various tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in maintenance work.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certification is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
