Job Description
APC Construction, LLC is seeking an experienced Industrial/Mechanical Estimator to join our growing team based out of our St. Gabriel office. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong estimating and project management experience who’s looking to be part of a company that values quality work, collaboration, and long-term growth.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and proposals for mechanical and industrial construction projects
- Interpret project drawings, specs, and requirements
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs
- Communicate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
- Assist in developing project scopes and budgets
- Collaborate across divisions and provide estimating support to power and heavy civil teams as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- 5 years of experience in estimating or project management in mechanical/industrial construction
- Familiarity with remedial civil activities in the industrial market
- Experience with Primavera P6 required
- Comfortable reading and interpreting specs and drawings
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prepare professional, client-facing proposals
- Experience with HeavyBid is a plus, but not required
