Estimator for Post-Construction Cleaning Company Position Summary :
seeking a skilled and experienced Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for evaluating project requirements, assessing costs, and preparing accurate estimates for our post-construction cleaning services. Our ideal candidate has significant commercial experience in estimating for subcontracting trades, a strong background in construction practices, and excellent communication skills. Example projects include : Hotels, Schools, Hospitals, Stadiums, Apartment Complexes, University Buildings, etc.
Key Responsibilities :
Collaborate with clients and project managers to understand project needs and timelines
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, including labor, materials, and equipment requirements
Communicate effectively with project managers to discuss project estimates and address any questions or concerns
Maintain accurate records of estimates and project documents in accordance with company policies
Participate in project kick-off meetings and ensure smooth handoff to the operations team
Qualifications and Skills :
Significant commercial experience in estimating for subcontracting trades, preferably within the construction industry
Strong understanding of construction practices, materials, and labor requirements
Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret blueprints and technical documents
Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
