Purchasing/Production Assistant
APC Roofing is continuing to grow, and we are looking for a Purchasing and Production Assistant, experienced in the Construction Industry to join the APC Roofing family and help the Production Coordinator in all aspects of each job.
To be successful in this position, you should have good time management and be able to multitask with some basic math skills pertaining to linear square footage and skliied at purchasing materials needed. These qualities are essential for this position.

Responsibilities
- Have a good customer service attitude as this person will be the main point of contact with our suppliers and our field representatives.
- Plan, schedule, direct and execute production activities.
- Work with sales staff in order to coordinate supplies and jobs.
- Work had in hand with the Permitting & Production Coordinator to ensure all jobs are planned in a timely manner.
- Work with our Field Project Manager to ensure that information pertaining to the job is communicated correctly.
- Placing orders
- Double checking materials for each job
Skills
- Construction experience is a Preferred!! (Roofing, Fencing, etc..)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines and printers)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Customer service attitude
- Prior experience with scheduling in the roofing industry preferred but not required.
At 90 days of employment, we will consider your skills and abilities then evaluate your pay for an increase.
