Job Summary
As the VP, Technology, you will be responsible for defining and executing the technological vision and strategy of the company. You will lead our engineering and technology teams, overseeing the development of innovative products and services that align with our business goals. Your expertise will be crucial in fostering a culture of innovation, ensuring the scalability and security of our technology infrastructure, and driving digital transformation across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy.
- Lead and mentor the engineering and technology teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the design and development of scalable and secure technology solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and industry standards.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the organization and identifying opportunities for integration.
- Manage technology budgets and resources, ensuring optimal allocation and ROI for technology investments.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure technology performance and drive accountability within the team.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to enhance technology capabilities and drive growth.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Deep understanding of agile and lean principles and practices
- Experience with SAFe or other scaled agile methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- 5 years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a strong background in software development, architecture, and infrastructure management.
- Proven track record of successfully leading technology teams and delivering innovative products and solutions.
- Strong desire to continue to learn and adopt emerging technologies
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Desired Certifications:
- Relevant certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional) are advantageous.
