One of our clients based in Starke, FL is looking for a new Parts Counter Salesperson!
The Parts Counter Salesperson is responsible for assisting both internal and external customers with their parts needs. This role focuses on generating parts sales (retail and wholesale), maximizing company profitability, and providing excellent customer service. The salesperson will develop and maintain customer relationships, support the Service Department with parts requirements, and demonstrate the capabilities and features of all parts and accessories.

RESPONSIBILITIES (included but not limited to):
- Generate retail and wholesale parts sales while maximizing company profitability.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships before and after sales to encourage repeat business.
- Collaborate with Technicians, Service Advisors, and customers to provide accurate parts quotes and fulfill their parts needs.
- Follow up on quotes to ensure timely updates and maintain accurate records.
- Stay up to date with dealership products and competitor offerings to offer the best solutions to customers.
- Maintain an organized and clean Parts warehouse and inventory bins.
- Determine parts availability, notify Parts Manager of low inventory levels.
- Manage parts orders as needed, ensuring smooth operations.
- Assist with parts deliveries; loading/unloading deliveries, including tires and car batteries.
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Motivated to initiate new sales opportunities.
- Basic sales negotiation experience.
- Proficiency with DealerTrack functions and Microsoft applications.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers, and ensure satisfaction.
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work across departments.
- Ability to stay current with product knowledge and industry trends.
- Commitment to following through on responsibilities and goals.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and comply with company, department, and safety policies.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, lifting 25-50 lbs. regularly, and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
- Maintain consistent attendance and the ability to work extended hours for events, as needed.
- Complete all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
