Apex Service Partners is currently seeking an Senior Accountant to support the Pacific Region. You will be a critical team member and early employee, participating in building a highly scalable, best-in-class finance organization as a key partner with the Accounting Management Team.

The Senior Accountant will assist with overseeing financial operations, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and assisting in strategic financial planning. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.  The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Regional Controller. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant regulations.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
• Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights for business decision-making.
• Ensure timely tax filings and compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with different departments to streamline financial processes.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of prior Accounting related experience
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field a plus
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Experience with Excel (lookups, pivot tables)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work Hybrid – Location is in Anaheim. Expectation is to work 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

PAY TRANSPARENCY:

The annual pay opportunity for this role ranges from $80K-90K/yr. The actual pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and annual bonus eligibility.
