DESCRIPTION
- The Apex Rack Repair Business Solutions Manager is a hands-on, travel-based role, vital to connect Apex with their repair customers. Our Rack Repair Business Solutions Managers are essential for collecting in-depth on-site information relating to the quality and specifications of warehouse systems, call out any damage, missing components, pictures, and locations. The Rack Repair Business Solutions Manager will perform inspections to report on the overall condition of our customer's warehouse systems, provide feedback on existing damages or missing components, and present solutions to address these concerns.

EXPERIENCE
- Two year industry experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Familiar with concepts and standards of mechanical practices and procedures for racking/shelving.
- Skill in effectively communicating with customers, co-workers, and management.
- Skill in safe, effective and appropriate product use and work habits.
- Skill in generating trust and respect from customers and co-workers.
- Ability to read sufficiently to understand procedure manuals and basic written instructions.
- Ability to deal calmly and rationality in stressful, last-minute and problematic situations, not losing control or letting emotions direct actions or words.
- Ability to verbally calm down excited persons and effectively resolve issues.
- Ability to prioritize and meet customer needs in a timely fashion.
- Ability to write clearly.
- Ability to follow all company rules and requirements as indicated by management.

- Availability to work overtime as needed.

- Plan and manage an efficient travel schedule throughout your assigned territory.
- Perform facility walk-throughs to assess damaged locations and general facility condition. Attention to detail is vital.
- Learn and adhere to RMI standards and effectively communicate with the customer as to how these standards apply to the conditions at each facility.
- Communicate your findings effectively with the customer. This is a key part of the sales process.
- Develop knowledge of product line to promote effective communication with manufacturers.
- Create customer quotes in an accurate but timely manner.
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers to promote trust and respect that will result in future business.
- Work effectively with all teams involved in the process (coordination, installation) so that every project goes as smoothly as possible.
Pay
- Mix of salary and commission. Rate based on experience.
