NURSE PRACTITIONER

Apex Skin is a rapidly growing skincare facility that empowers employees to deliver exceptional patient experiences. We are currently looking for talented candidates for the role of Physician Assistant, where you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse patient population. Your expertise and compassion will be instrumental in delivering exceptional medical services in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient examinations, including history taking and physical assessments.
• Interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work, X-rays, and MRIs.
• Develop and implement patient management plans in collaboration with physicians.
• Prescribe medications and therapies as approved by supervising physicians.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Assist in surgical procedures and provide post-operative care.
• Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records.
• Perform routine procedures such as suturing, splinting, and casting.
• Provide emergency care and perform life-saving interventions as needed.
• Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Stay updated with medical advancements and continue professional development.

Job Requirements:

• Nurse Practitioner Certification/ Master’s degree in Nursing
• State licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant/NP
• Strong knowledge of medical procedures, diagnostic techniques, and patient management
• Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a healthcare team
• Ability to obtain credentials for practicing under various entities
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
• CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Flexibility to work in various clinical settings, including weekends and holidays if required

Preferred:

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• May require walking and prolonged periods standing and moving.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
