Mentor Plastic Surgery & Medspa located in Concord Ohio is hiring a Nurse Practitioner to join our busy practice.
We are looking for a professional, self- motivated, reliable and personable NP to join our growing team as we expand our practice. The Nurse Practitioner evaluates, plans and provides care for patients in consultation with and under direct/indirect supervision of attending Physician. The ideal candidate will also function as a physician extender in clinical pre and post-operative care after cosmetic/plastic surgery. When the attending physician is in surgery the NP will have a schedule independent of the physician. In addition, the nurse practitioner would also be trained in performing fillers and botulinum toxin injections as well as laser treatments.
The ideal candidate for the Nurse Practitioner role maintains effective communication with patients, staff and physicians; provides patient care in a competent, professional and courteous manner; and keeps abreast of current research and incorporates relevant findings into specific areas of clinical practice. The NP will promote a collaborative relationship and effort between the patient and surgical team, including other clinicians, medical assistants, and support staff. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining state licensure in good standing. Our ideal candidate has experience in surgery/aesthetics. Experience in plastic surgery is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate and counsel non-surgical cosmetic patients and medical patients
- Sell non-surgical cosmetic treatments, skin care, and surgical procedures in consultative fashion
- Perform nonsurgical cosmetic treatments within scope of training under doctor’s supervision, including:
- Neurotoxin injection
- Filler injection
- Non-surgical skin rejuvenation treatments including radiofrequency micro-needling and laser skin resurfacing
- Intense Pulsed Light treatment
- Ablative laser surfacing treatments
- Administer pre- and post-treatment care for nonsurgical and surgical patients
- Document all patient care in accordance with medicolegal standards
- Assist doctor with surgery in office
- Perform skin biopsy/shaves
- Limited on-call responsibility for postsurgical patients in an elective plastic surgery practice
- Assist with marketing, business development, and sales including new patient referrals, maintenance treatments, cross-sales, and up-sales
- Assist with miscellaneous duties as requested
- Occasional Saturdays for special events/patient follow up
