Job Description:
As a Commercial Fence Estimator, you will play a critical role in driving our growth by identifying and cultivating relationships with clients who require fencing solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify potential clients through market research, referrals, and networking. Generate and qualify leads to build a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Consultative Sales: Understand the unique needs of each commercial client and recommend appropriate fencing solutions. Provide expert guidance on materials, design, and installation options.
- Proposal Development: Prepare detailed and customized proposals that address the specific requirements and budget constraints of each client. Clearly communicate the value proposition of our fencing products and services.
- Negotiation: Collaborate with clients to negotiate terms, pricing, and contract agreements. Work to overcome objections and close sales effectively.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients. Ensure client satisfaction and seek opportunities for upselling or repeat business.
- Market Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and local market conditions. Share insights with the team to help refine our product and service offerings.
- Project Coordination: Liaise between clients and our installation teams to ensure smooth project execution. Coordinate site visits and inspections as needed.
- Sales Reporting: Report sales to Sales Manager and attend sales meetings.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 1 year of commercial construction estimating or project management experience
- Plan reading knowledge
- Experience with material takeoffs
- Proven sales, business development, or related field experience
- Strong analytical skills to analyze sales performance data and identify areas for improvement
- Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on closing deals effectively
- Oustanding customer service skills with a customer-centric approach
- Familiarity with account management practices and strategies
- Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM tools (preferred)
- Fluency in Spanish (a plus, but not required)
