We are seeking a motivated, organized, and mechanically inclined Shop & Facility Manager to oversee daily operations in our fence fabrication and supply facility. This full-time role is perfect for someone who takes pride in leadership, efficiency, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

As the Shop & Facility Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting field teams, managing inventory, coordinating equipment and vehicle upkeep, and maintaining an organized, high-functioning workspace.

?? Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all shop operations and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely

• Manage inventory control, including receiving, organizing, and tracking materials

• Supervise and support shop assistants and welders

• Schedule and perform fleet maintenance and inspections for trucks and trailers

• Coordinate small engine and tool repairs, maintenance, and tracking

• Place and track material and supply orders from vendors

• Load/unload trailers and assist with order staging

• Manage facility organization and cleanliness

• Maintain grounds and outdoor storage areas

• Handle logistics for deliveries, pickups, and vendor runs

• Monitor safety compliance and enforce shop protocols

?? Ideal Candidate:

• Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a similar role

• Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of tools, vehicles, and small engine equipment

• Familiarity with fence materials, welding processes, or construction trades

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly

• Comfortable lifting up to 80 lbs and working in a hands-on environment

• Positive attitude and solid work ethic

• Willingness to work some weekends as needed

?? Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Must be detail-oriented, dependable, and self-motivated

• Basic computer or tablet proficiency for inventory or order tracking

?? Bonus Qualifications (Preferred but not required):

• CDL License

• Welding experience

• Heavy equipment operation

• Previous facility or fleet management experience

• Small engine repair certifications or background

• Job Type: Full-time

• Expected Hours: 45–55 hours per week

• Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour (depending on experience)
