Job Description
The Senior Medical Executive will lead and provide medical expertise to ensure the highest level of patient care. This part-time leadership role requires a physician or advanced practice clinician who also provides medical services.
Responsibilities Include:
- Lead and mentor medical staff, fostering collaboration and a culture of excellence.
- Provide clinical oversight for complex cases, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
- Supervise clinical staff, including performance reviews and training, to ensure they meet the highest standards.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop community-focused medical programs that address the unique needs of our patients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, the Senior Medical Executive must possess:
- A current medical or advanced practice license in California.
- Board certification in a relevant specialty.
- No less than 5 years of experience in healthcare, preferably in ambulatory and FQHC settings.
- Strong commitment to serving underserved populations and cultural sensitivity.
- Proven leadership skills and excellent communication abilities.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and quality improvement strategies.
- Proficiency in EHR systems; Spanish fluency is preferred.
Salary
The annual salary for this position ranges from $270,000 to $305,000 for physicians, $200,000 to $245,000 for nurse practitioners, and $172,500 to $210,000 for physician assistants.
