WHO WE ARE:

Apex Leadership Co is a fitness, leadership character building company that is changing the way elementary schools fundraise, all while changing the lives of today’s youth. Our goal is to provide a healthy alternative to fundraising for schools while teaching kids about leadership, fitness, and positive character traits. It’s pretty unique, and team members often say they can’t believe this is their job!

OVERVIEW:

As an Apex team member, you will work in various area schools for 2-week periods to inspire kids by delivering daily leadership and character lessons, set up and execute an exciting pep rally and a fitness focused final event (a fun run, color run or glow-in-the-dark fitness party), play with kids during recess and PE, provide various classroom incentives (such as class dance parties, singing karaoke, getting a pie in the face, getting taped to the wall, being covered in silly string, and other crazy things) and doing what it takes to connect with elementary aged students so that the lessons you teach can really sink in and make a difference in their lives. You will inspire kids by being an excellent role model at all times. We have received hundreds of reviews from parents, teachers, and administrators indicating how meaningful, inspiring, and impactful the leadership program is for the kids. Apex team members go home each day knowing they’ve made a positive difference in the world around them. That alone makes this much more than a job.

Apex Leadership Co is new to Louisiana and looking for team members who would like to learn, grow, and advance with us. You will serve as the liaison and main point of contact for our clients (school principals, staff and faculty). Your professionalism at all times matters. Yes, we have fun but we are serious about what we do. We will train you, but your background and genuine interest in doing the following will make you a better candidate:

• Give quality leadership classroom lessons in an engaging way
• Set up and execute pep rallies, fun runs, and dance parties for the whole school- you’re not afraid to have fun in front of everyone!
• Coordinate with school before, during, and after the program to exceed client expectations
• Transport equipment to and from schools, load and unload supplies and equipment for the program
• Manage inventory and work as a team to execute a red-carpet event for schools
• Cultivate great relationships with students, parents, and staff, providing stellar customer service that will blow them away!
• Track performance against performance metrics on a daily and program basis
• Troubleshoot daily challenges (with a smile on your face) at schools with students, staff, and parents
• Attend Apex staff meetings, and various work-related functions, including ongoing training, special events, and projects throughout the year

MORE DETAILS:

• This job is in the South Louisiana area with occasional long-distance travel for training and to serve schools in other states/cities
• Availability during (and occasionally beyond) normal school hours is required
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation is required
• This job offers weekends, holidays, and summers off!
• Must pass a background check and random drug testing

Compensation: $700-$850/week during the school year plus opportunities for bonus/ commission for rebooks, sales referrals. Weekends and holidays off. You will also be provided with jerseys to wear for work and a tennis shoe allowance.

• Working with kids- 1 year required (2-3 years preferred)
