What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Field Chemist position at Apex Life Sciences?
Apex Systems is recruiting for a Field Chemist in East Liverpool, OH. This is a 6 month contract to start with the opportunity to convert to a permanent employee.
Job Duties:
- Fieldwork that requires segregating, packing, labeling and manifesting waste for shipment and disposal. Travel and overnight stays may be required.
- Truck driving, waste pick-ups and leading field jobs?
- Approve lab pack inventories for incineration and third party disposal.
- Work with Account Reps to prepare disposal quotes.
- Work with customers to resolve loose and lab pack discrepancies.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
Ability to Relocate:
- East Liverpool, OH 43920: Relocate before starting work (Required)
