We seek a dedicated and qualified Personal Trainer to join our Apex Park and Recreation District team. As a Personal Trainer, you will provide comprehensive fitness programs to help clients achieve their short and long-term fitness goals. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting private and semi-private training sessions, maintaining client records, and adhering to district policies and guidelines. If you have a nationally recognized Personal Training certification, outstanding customer service skills, and the ability to train individuals and groups effectively, we would like to hear from you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct private and semi-private personal training sessions, adhering to district policies and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate client records and communicate program progress/issues with the Recreation Coordinator.
- Attend required training and staff meetings.
- Be punctual and maintain a professional demeanor with clients.
- Contact new clients promptly and lead weight room orientations, specialty fitness classes, and client assessments as requested.
- Promote district-wide programs and events.
- Aid during emergency situations.
- Must be 18 years old.
- Nationally recognized Personal Training certification
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification required upon hire.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
- Proficient in providing individual and group personal training.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 45 pounds and competently spot clients.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Additional certifications or degrees in related fields are a plus.
- Works primarily in a fitness facility setting.
- May include weight rooms, fitness studios, and exercise areas.
- May be exposed to loud noises, temperature variations, and occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals.
- May be required to perform physical actives such as standing, walking, lifting, and spotting clients.
