We are looking for a strategic and hands-on finance executive to oversee our financial health, optimize operations, and drive profitability. This leader will be a key member of our executive team, responsible for financial strategy, forecasting, cash flow management, and ensuring compliance—all while supporting the successful execution of construction projects.

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and profitability.
• Provide financial insights to drive executive decision-making and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with ownership and leadership on long-term planning and investment strategies.

• Oversee accounting operations, including AR, AP, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Ensure timely, accurate financial statements and compliance with GAAP.
• Strengthen internal controls and optimize financial systems for scalability.

• Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts, ensuring financial stability and growth.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations and investments.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

• Partner with project managers to track budgets, costs, and profitability.
• Oversee job costing, WIP (work-in-progress) reporting, and margin analysis.
• Ensure financial reporting aligns with project timelines and objectives.

• Lead and mentor the finance team, including an AR specialist, AP specialist, and Controller.
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Provide coaching and professional development to enhance team capabilities.

• Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and legal requirements.
• Oversee insurance, bonding, and contractual obligations.
• Lead internal and external audits, addressing any issues proactively.

✅ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).

✅ Experience: 10 years of finance leadership experience, including 5 years in a senior role.

✅ Industry Expertise: Background in construction, real estate development, or related fields is required.

✅ Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Procore, or similar).

✅ Leadership: Strong ability to lead teams, communicate financial insights, and collaborate with executives.
