APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Orland, IN looking to add an Accounting Assistant to their already amazing team. What your day will look like:
- Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable entries.
- Process invoices, ensure accuracy in billing, and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare bank deposits, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and closing processes.
- Maintain and update financial records, files, and databases.
- Prepare financial documents and reports as requested by management.
- Support audits by gathering documentation and assisting with data verification.
- Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal team members regarding billing and payment inquiries.
- Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration as needed.
- Perform other administrative duties to support the finance team.
What we are looking for:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Previous Accounting Assistant experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
Salary : $55,000 - $60,000
