Mitigation Laborer Role:
The Laborer reports to the Mitigation Project Manager. The Laborer attends daily morning meeting to determine daily schedule. The Laborer takes direction from the Lead Technician while on job site, which includes demolition, cleanup of job site, and loading/unloading work van. The Laborer may work in confined spaces and handle hazardous material. The Laborer must maintain a neat and clean work site and operate a safe jobsite per OSHA requirements and Apex Restoration DKI policy and procedures.
Accountabilities:
- Ability to lift up to 100lbs
- Ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces
- Maintain clean and professional appearance at all times
- No smoking, vaping, or consumption of illicit substances while at work
- Skills in communication, organization, teamwork, and accuracy
- Required to be on an on-call rotation
- Must consistently strive to learn, implement, and maintain strong understanding of mitigation operations and procedures
- Foster positive relationships with team members
- Refer all customer questions to Mitigation Superintendent
- Ensure every job site is clean and safe at all times
- May work 40 hours per week
- May be on call during catastrophic events
- Perform other responsibilities as required
Required Qualifications:
- Exceptional skills in communication, organization, teamwork, accuracy, attention to detail, time management, conflict resolution, and cost management
- Knowledge of insurance claim procedures, standards and guidelines a plus
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs
- Must be able to enter confined spaces and climb ladders
- Must maintain clean and professional appearance at all times
- Valid Driver’s License & eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- No felony convictions
Compensation:
- $15 to $17 per hour
- After hours bonus per job
