Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead and oversee our inspection processes within the short-term rental and hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have a background in property management, including experience in hospitality standards, guest satisfaction protocols, and operational excellence. This role is critical in maintaining the high standard of quality over all of our properties and services while fostering a culture of continuous improvement across our operations.
Duties
- Maintain, nurture, and improve quality assurance policies and procedures tailored to short-term rental and hospitality standards.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness, safety, and operational standards.
- Lead service audits and facilitate corrective actions to address areas for improvement identified during inspections or guest feedback.
- Oversee the inspection teams to ensure effective quality control measures are in place for property maintenance, guest services, and operational workflows.
- Effectively communicate with vendors to schedule cleaning and maintenance orders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including property managers, housekeeping, and guest relations, to enhance the quality and consistency of guest experiences.
- Manage documentation related to quality assurance activities, including inspection reports, guest feedback analysis, and compliance records.
- Train staff on quality management practices and promote a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.
- Maintain health and safety standards to ensure guest and staff well-being at all times.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of hospitality industry quality standards and inspection techniques.
- Proficiency in managing quality processes within the short-term rental or hospitality sectors.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to organize and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
- Experience in conducting service quality audits and implementing corrective action plans.
- Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) and tools used in the short-term rental industry.
- Understanding of maintenance and housekeeping processes as they relate to guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of health and safety compliance standards is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
