Role Description:

This is a part-time on-site role as a Grounds Maintenance Specialist at Apex Sports & Entertainment. The Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and safety of our outdoor areas, ensuring they remain inviting and functional for our guests. Duties include turf/grass management, operating and maintaining irrigation systems, applying fertilizers, performing grounds machinery maintenance, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and aesthetics of the grounds.

Qualifications:

• Turf/Grass management skills
• A fertilizer spraying license is a plus
• Irrigation system experience preferred
• Grounds machinery maintenance experience
• Ability to perform general grounds maintenance tasks as needed
• 2 years of experience on a grounds crew preferred
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• High school diploma or equivalent

This is a great part-time position for the Spring through Fall of 2025. You will work 25 hours per week, consisting of 5 shifts of 5 hours each. You will have the flexibility to choose your days off (outside of event weeks), and work must be completed between 5:00am-10:00am, weather permitting.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
