Position Summary:
Seeking a Resiliency Business Analyst to lead a project to development a restoration order and recovery process for large-scale incidents. This role will support the organization’s strategic goal of maturing its response to extended, widespread incidents. The Resiliency Business Analyst will work closely with operational teams to map out full-service line recovery, including application dependencies, open network connections, vendor relationships, and IoT/biomedical device recovery. This position plays a key role in ensuring a comprehensive approach to resilience and recovery by gathering and analyzing critical data and developing a structured restoration sequence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead efforts to identify and document dependencies to delivering services, including applications, vendor connections, IoT devices, and network requirements.
- Conduct meetings, focus groups, and interviews with operational teams to collect necessary data for service line recovery.
- Develop visual dependency maps and process diagrams to illustrate recovery sequences and key interdependencies.
- Partner with the Disaster Recovery team to establish a prioritized restoration order for service lines.
- Analyze collected data to identify critical vendors and potential recovery gaps.
- Collaborate with IT, clinical, and operational stakeholders to define an effective and sustainable recovery strategy.
- Maintain thorough documentation and reporting on system dependencies and recovery processes.
- Assist in developing frameworks and tools to support long-term resilience planning.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and data sources.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including experience leading meetings and conducting interviews to gather information.
- Ability to translate complex technical and operational information into clear documentation and process flows.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience leading projects and coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously with efficiency and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare operations, IT resilience, or business continuity planning.
- Experience with Visio or similar diagramming tools preferred
