We are seeking an insight-driven, curious, and experienced B2B marketer to own the end-to-end creation and delivery of programming for Amazon Ads first-party and industry events. In this highly-cross functional role, you’ll work with stakeholder teams across Amazon to deeply understand our solutions and how they work together to solve customer challenges. You’ll apply that knowledge to propose, develop, and deliver thought leadership across our largest event stages. Candidates must possess exceptional verbal and written communications skills and be comfortable managing projects with multiple stakeholders across the globe in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in gaining executive alignment, communicating internally with stakeholders and externally (to customers), and collaborating cross-team is a must.


Business Group:

  • HM and team focus on strategic events
  • Very high visibility moments where they are building awareness for Amazon Ads (during key moments of the sale cycle)
  • Consumer electronics show, upfront program, CAN line creativity festival, Unbox.
  • Continuously evolving brand messaging, partnering with stakeholders across the org including senior executives, product marketing, and all various amazon affiliates.
  • To think through what is the story they want to be communicating out in message.

Key Projects:

  • Last year team produced 20 different breakout sessions.
  • Working with PMM and product owner (providing content check ins, telling story, feedback, creating communications so that they know they’re meeting content development milestones


Day to Day:

  • Develop a workback schedule to map out key milestones and deliverables for content development. Conduct research on an event to understand audience and programming needs. Meet with affiliate teams to learn more about the value of their solutions and any announcements. Deliver a doc that outlines a content strategy recommendation. Prepare speaker briefs and schedule calls to get feedback from speakers. Draft initial scripts and route through stakeholders including PR and Legal to ensure compliance. Partner with creative services to develop corresponding visuals. Schedule and run speaker rehearsals, ensuring they are familiar with content. Partner with GTM stakeholders including PR and Editorial to amplify content messaging. Attend event with speakers, ensuring they are prepped with note cards, confidence monitors, etc.

Interaction Level:

  • At least 2 weekly meetings
  • Hm has team meeting once a week


Requirements:

  • At least 5 YOE
  • Needs to have worked ideally in corporate space
  • Executive presence is beneficial
  • BA degree
