Job Description:

We have an opportunity for a Datacenter Engineer within the Security & Trust Organization (STO). This position is part of the Government Trust & Technology Services (GTTS) team, which consists of three core pillars: threat intelligence, security operations, and product assurance. GTTS operates segregated infrastructures to manage sensitive data handling and application hosting. These infrastructures ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as the International Traffic in Arms Agreement, Export Control Regulations, and Classified Information Handling Regulations. The team focuses on gathering data about threats, analyzing user behavior and activities, and leveraging web hosting and security services.

GTTS is seeking a Datacenter Engineer to work in secure environments to build, deploy, and support mission-critical networks. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Counter-Intelligence Polygraph. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team to develop and maintain secure computing environments used operationally. These environments involve various operating systems (Windows/Linux/Unix), virtualization platforms (VMware), web, email, and database services, as well as dedicated desktop and thin client technologies. Prior experience in a data center environment will be vital for success in this position.

The individual in this role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with NISPOM and ICD guidelines, assisting in the creation and management of System Security Plans (SSP), Plan of Action and Milestones (PO&AM) documentation, and supporting system accreditation processes.
Requirements:
  • U.S. citizenship and active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Counter-Intelligence Polygraph
  • Experience with contracts adhering to DIACAP, NISPOM, and ICD requirements
  • Proficiency in configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting network functions within secure environments
  • Routine network administration experience, including installations, configurations, maintenance, and troubleshooting (CCNA-level preferred)
  • Expertise in Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, WSUS, Windows Server (2016/2019), and Windows 10
  • Experience with VMwares vSphere virtualization suite
  • Strong system patching and vulnerability remediation skills
  • Ability to multitask effectively in dynamic environments with evolving priorities
  • Capability to work both independently and in team settings
  • Familiarity with Linux and Windows systems and their interactions within the networked compute environment
  • DoD 8570 Industry Certification in one or more of the following: CISSP, Security , CISA, GSEC, CAP, SCNA, SCNP, SSCP, GSLC, GSE
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator
  • Familiarity with centralized logging products (e.g., Splunk)
  • Knowledge of COMSEC and encryption technologies
  • Experience administering cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google, etc.)
  • Proficiency in administering Jira
