Job Title : Senior Endpoint Systems Desktop Engineer
Location : San Diego, CA
Pay Range : $115,000 to $170,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
You Will :
Lead engineering and design for our client
Perform administrative, design, engineering, and operational tasks for desktop and laptop Windows Endpoint devices supporting the U.S. Navy
Perform development of custom task sequences, PowerShell automation and automated application installation packages
You Have :
U.S. Citizenship.
Possession of and the ability to maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance
Knowledge of desktop OS deployment and imaging tools, drivers, application installs, OS patching, and feature updates.
Knowledge of built-in Microsoft desktop technologies, including BitLocker, Credential Guard, WSL, or Windows Hello for Business. The ability to communicate with senior management and customers
The ability to multi-task and balance multiple goals and priorities
Self-motivation, strong work ethic and commitment to quality and teamwork
A passion for learning
Experience / Education :
5 years of experience building, customizing, and deploying operating systems for Windows 10 and 11 Endpoints
5 years of experience developing desktop deployment task sequences using desktop deployment tools, including Microsoft SCCM / MECM or Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT)
5 years of experience with PowerShell scripting
5 years of experience working in large enterprise operations environments, including the identification, development, analysis, scheduling, and managing of enterprise IT activities, solutions and risk mitigations, artifacts, and migrations.
HS diploma or GED
DoD 8570.11- IAT Level II Certification, (e.g. Security CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, or SSCP) in addition to Operating Environment (OE) certification for Microsoft Platforms / Solutions
We Would Be Impressed If You Had :
Experience with applying systems engineering fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments
Experience with enterprise server, storage, networking, software, and application services or equivalent depth in a single solution platform
Experience in collaborating with other enterprise technologists both internal and external to resolve complex technical issues
Experience in supporting and coordinating across senior level organizations
Experience with mentoring junior team members
Experience with cloud-based technology
Experience with Python or PowerShell scripting
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering
A CASP or CISSP Certification; and / or Microsoft Certifications AZ-900 and / or AZ-104
