Desktop Support Technician
Apex Systems is hiring for a Desktop Support Technician with one of our clients in Pensacola, FL!

Location: 100% on-site in Pensacola, FL
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm EST (no on-call)
Contract Duration: 3-6 month contract-to-permanent-hire opportunity
Pay Rate: $20-24/hour
Requirements:
3 years of experience supporting PC Hardware and software.
Deskside Support experience
Customer Service experience
A certification is a plus, but not required
Position Overview:
Deskside support role doing hardware repair, troubleshooting of hardware and software images, IMAC tasks.
Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals.
Documents, maintains, upgrades, or replaces hardware and software systems.
Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security, and systems groups.
Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
Represents client in a professional and businesslike manner and communicates effectively with customers and associates.
Interacts with customers, responding to routine technical questions or request for information.
Network connection issues, track network connections back to network switches.
Escalates problems and issues to a higher level of support if unable to resolve.
Comfortability providing hands & feet support for Server and Network is a plus.
Experience supporting mobile data plans, mobile networks, and devices is a plus.
