Business Applications Enterprise Architect
Onsite : Deer Park, TX
As part of this transformation effort, we have kicked off various initiatives including an SAP S / 4HANA, LeanIX, and Signavio projects to enhance our business operations and drive growth. We seek an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our team and play a crucial role in these strategic initiative.
Job Overview :
The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for the overall architecture and integrations of our application landscape. This role will ensure that our technology stack aligns with our refinery’s objectives, IT strategy, and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Enterprise Architecture.
The successful candidate must have a general understanding of complex integrations and seek to understand the refinery business, Oil and Gas practices, and be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
Stakeholders :
Sits on the Digital Solutions team and collaborates with leads from Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Construction, and Engineering
Collaborates closely with site Enterprise Architect lead to ensure architecture is in line with the business strategic roadmap for capabilities and applications
Works closely with the PMO (Project Management Office) to deliver key projects
Works closely with the cross-functional IT technical team for enforcing infrastructure, network, and cybersecurity requirements
Key Responsibilities :
Enterprise Architecture and Roadmaps :
Responsible for architectural design and integration management of site applications
Responsible for aligning existing design to S4 project
Aligns project governance with overall IT governance including risk management, security protocols, and regulatory requirements
Creates and maintains comprehensive architectural documentation including system designs, integration diagrams, and technical specifications
Technical Leadership and Business Processes :
Provides technical leadership and guidance to project teams, adhering to architectural principles, roadmaps, standards, and best practices
Drives designs that encompass full end to end business process and cross functional business processes in mind
Skills & Experience Required : Bachelors or Master’s degree and five (5) years or more experience
Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect including Business Data, Infrastructure, and Integration Architecture.
Experience with enterprise-level software development.
Ability to define business needs and capabilities and develop functional specifications for new or enhanced systems and processes.
Ability to collaborate and communicate across different levels of the organization and influence cross functional teams.
Preferred Experience :
Experience or certifications with oil and gas downstream applications
Experience with common refinery applications including Primavera P6, MCI Track, STO tools, etc.
Experience with SAP LeanIX, BTP, Signavio or similar BPM (business process modelling) tools.
