Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Architect with expertise in on-prem to Cloud migrations. The Architect will have experience in Java Microservices architecture, cloud native solutioning, and excellent collaborative skills across various levels of stakeholders.
Core Requirements:
- 10 years of software engineering experience with 3 years as an Architect
- Expertise in Java Microservices architecture
- Experience with Cloud Native Solutioning and Migrations (Azure preferred)
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React
- Experience with Containerization tools such as OpenShift (preferred)
- Experience with modern architecture and design tools, such as Visio, TOGAF, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture and design of Java-based web applications
- Develop and implement cloud-native architecture solutions in Azure.
- Design, implement, and deploy APIs to Azure Cloud.
- Utilize JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and/or React for front-end development.
- Apply modern architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and design tools like Visio.
- Ensure seamless integration and deployment using CI/CD pipelines.
- Leverage containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and/or OpenShift.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Must Haves:
- 10 years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years as a Java Architect.
- Strong experience with JavaScript frameworks, specifically Angular or React.
- Core understanding of Java Microservices Architecture.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Visio.
