JOB DESCRIPTION

Apex is seeking a very strong, highly experienced executive level consulting professional to join the US & Canada practice within Apex' Solutions Delivery Organization. This individual must have demonstrated skills and ability to sell and deliver consulting services to enterprise level clients. This role will be responsible for selling and subsequently executing executive level, high value consulting services, and will be instrumental in developing future business within one or more accounts. This role will also provide subject matter expertise within the Solutions Delivery organization and will help to enhance the depth and breadth of the knowledge and skills within the Solutions Delivery organization. This role works directly with Account Managers, Engagement Managers, Client Directors, and Solutions and Practice Consultants to develop, propose, sell, and deliver solutions for our government clients. You will be a part of the proposal and delivery teams for technology services engagements by partnering with clients to define their technical vision and develop the solution, as well as deliver and/or oversee the solution.

RESPONSIBLITIES
  • Solutions Delivery Services Sales: Grow and develop Apex Systems' executive-level, high value Solutions Delivery Services sales with Enterprise Level Clients utilizing exceptional skills in consulting, written and verbal communication, relationship-building, presentation, negotiation, interpersonal communication, persuasion, problem solving, analysis, management, leadership, and executive presence.
  • Develop strong client relationships as trusted executive advisor. Continually innovate, seek creative solutions, and find new ways of adding value. Listen and seek to understand the client and meet their needs, providing consultative guidance. Stay attuned to the future needs of the client and work with internal resources to identify opportunities. Proactively provide solutions and approach adversity with a solution-focused mindset.
  • Executive Level, High Value Consulting: Meet or exceed client expectations in the execution of Solutions Delivery services engagements. Produce high quality deliverables, meet project deadlines, and take responsibility for engagement and team success. Demonstrate a passion for quality and process improvement.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert internally and externally. Build trust and respect among internal and external stakeholders and model collaborative teamwork.
  • Build strong client, industry, and internal relationships and represent Apex Systems as a leader within Industry and Professional events and communities. Develop and maintain strong internal and external customer relationships.
  • Collaborate internally with Apex Account Teams, Solution Leaders, Industry Leaders, Practice Leaders, and others to develop Apex Solutions Delivery Services business.
  • Lead team members and direct reports to Lead the development, growth, and success of your team, developing professionals for the next stage of their careers.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility to acquire skills to meet business needs.
  • Participate in sales pursuits. Continually innovate, seek creative solutions, and find new ways of adding value. Listen and seek to understand the client and meet their needs, providing consultative guidance. Stay attuned to the future needs of the client and work with internal resources to identify opportunities. Proactively provide solutions and approach adversity with a solution-focused mindset.
  • This role may be responsible for managing hybrid project teams consisting of Apex Contact Employees, Internal Apex employees, client employees and external vendors.
  • Consistently exceed the utilization targets.
  • Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure solutions using AWS and Azure cloud services.
  • Develop and maintain architecture diagrams and documentation.
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of test automation frameworks using Selenium, C#, Python, and other tools.
  • Oversee the execution of automated test runs and ensure the quality of test scripts.
  • Use tools like Data Dog and Blazemeter to monitor and improve application performance.
  • Work closely with business analysts, developers, and testers to understand requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs.
  • Facilitate communication between offshore and onshore teams.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • 10 years of Software Development and Engineering Experience (SDLC).
  • 8 years of experience leading technology teams & projects.
  • 6 years of hands-on experience in solutions architecture.
  • Must be willing to be a player/coach.
  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of AWS and Azure services and best practices.
  • Proficiency in React, REST, C#, .NET Core, and third-party libraries.
  • Strong understanding of test automation tools and frameworks.
  • Quickly deciphering current state and environing future state architectures.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and growth mindset.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, navigating high pressure, challenging situations professionally and with poise.
  • Certifications in AWS and/or Azure preferred.
  • Proven experience owning executive level, high value consulting services sales.
  • Exceptional skills in consulting, written and verbal communication, negotiation, interpersonal communication, persuasion, problem solving, analysis, management, leadership, and engagement delivery.
  • Positive relationship builder able to navigate through complex situations to ensure the most robust and pragmatic solution.
  • Strong analytical skills and the aptitude to quickly identify gaps and risks.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, including the ability to present complex concepts to engineering and business partners.
  • Excellent presentation skills and executive presence.
  • Ability to quickly decipher current state and envisioning future state architectures.
  • BA/BS in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields preferred, or equivalent education and experience
