Summary
- Perform as a senior member of the Materials Science team to build the next-generation technologies for our defense clients by leading our materials and science testing engineering efforts.
- The Materials Science Team is a dynamic team responsible for developing, integrating, and testing solutions to create emerging technologies and products for the next generation of Warfighters.
- Applies engineering physics, engineering mathematics, and materials science principles to support the design, analysis, manufacture or maintenance of mechanical systems
- Create, test, and support the scale-up of advanced materials for defense and aerospace applications and use different types of testing to measure the performance and improve the process of making materials.
- Advise organizational leadership on emerging technologies and market targets of opportunity for marketing and implementation.
- Maintain responsibility for evaluating technical specifications relating to the design objectives of processes or products and evaluate the impact of materials processing on the environment.
