Senior IT Specialist (Desktop Support)
Apex Systems is hiring for a Senior IT Specialist (Desktop Support) for a large government client that supports the Navy & Marine Corps in Philadelphia, PA!
Location: 100% On-site in Philadelphia, PA
Contract Duration: Slated to last approximately 6 months with possibility for extension
Requirements:
- Active DoD-issued Secret Security Clearance
- CompTIA Security CE Certification
- 5 years of IT experience (education can be used in lieu of experience)
- Associate's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related discipline is desired
Overview:
- Ability to provide phone and in-person support to users in the areas of e-mail, directories, standard Windows desktop applications, and applications developed under this contract or predecessors.
- Windows 10 installation/imaging experience required
- Candidate would serve as the initial point of contact for troubleshooting PC hardware/software and printer problems.
- Experience with Remedy ticketing system is a plus
- Candidate must feel comfortable working independently and be familiar with Windows 7, 10, & Outlook
