Job Description:
Supplier Compliance Engineer for our client based out of Macungie, PA.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to packaging and label/ASN standards for upwards of 4,000 new part numbers.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive suppliers contact database.
- Obtain and document supplier approvals for new packaging implementations.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure supplier compliance with established packaging instructions and standards.
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve compliance issues and improve packaging processes.
- Document and communicate packaging guidelines/rules and provide necessary training to suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain records of compliance status and metrics.
- Report on supplier compliance status to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Manage resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of compliance activities.
- Degree in Packaging Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication, planning, organization, and visualization/presentation skills.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts and principles.
- Ability to communicate adherence to packaging instructions, label, and advance shipping notice (ASN) standards.
- Advanced understanding of basic computer programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Power BI).
