Location: Hybrid (Remote / On site at Seattle Location - Sumner, WA 98390_
Rate: Negotiable Based on Experience
Duration: 6 Months
Systems Engineer - Controls
Position Description:
Looking for a self-starting individual that can integrate into our client's team and assist in Commissioning, testing, troubleshooting and where needed development. This is a very hands on role and you will be involved in a variety of different technologies that all leverage the same style of controls systems with AWS IOT integration. Working cross functionally with testing teams, controls team, software team and program management teams.
Required Skills:Familiar with GIT and SW management processes Good understanding of software design patterns Network experience Ethernet IP / EtherCat Hardware commissioning and setup experience Cognex Banner Lenze Ect Experience defining and writing commissioning plans and executing on those plansDesired Skills: Python development experience Experience with safety systems (Ideally Beckhoff TwinSafe and FSOE) MQTT / cloud connectivity experience AWS service experience Additional Benefits:

Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of applicable experience
- Software development experience ideally with Codesys in STL in Object oriented style
- TwinCat experience is also a bonus
