Primary Job Functions
- Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards.
- Develop relationships with colleges and other applicant sources.
- Screen candidates resumes and job applications.
- Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/ methods to filter candidates within schedule.
- Assess applicants relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes.
- Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
- Assist in training hiring managers/supervisors in interviewing styles and techniques. This includes the ability to review with managers/supervisors any candidate that is questionable and ensuring all job requirements are met.
- Must possess a good attitude, work well with others, have commitment to the company, strong interpersonal skills and strong understanding of responsibilities as it relates to recruiting and hiring. Knowledge of the IT field is an asset.

- Good presentation skills includes drawing up and posting job opportunity advertisements

- Excellent verbal and writing skills
- Knowledge of how to maximize the use of a computer, including but not limited to: Outlook, Power Point, Excel, Word, etc.
- Strong understanding and utilization of social media sites for recruiting
- Strong interpersonal, communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of personalities.
- Ability to develop and maintain record keeping systems and procedures.
- Ability to effectively and positively influence and persuade
- Ability to multi-task and handle several priorities at one time.
- Bachelors Degree preferred.
- Minimum of one year experience in the recruiting field. Will consider all related experience in lieu of education.
