POSITION SUMMARY :
The industrial account manager will be responsible for maintaining and growing the industrial roll-off and porta-a-john line of business in Routt and Moffat County. This person's direct report will be to the General Manager-Steamboat and will have a dotted line to the Area Sales Manager. This individual must have a deep understanding of customer needs in developing differentiated industrial services that are aligned with the State’s diversion efforts. In addition, you will be responsible for meeting individual sales goals (budget) for new business with industrial waste customers
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
- Present the full line of Apex Waste services to prospective customers for assigned areas of responsibility.
- Establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by meeting customer retention goals, resolving customer issues on time, and solving accounts receivable and service problems. Collaborate with Sales Manager / General Manager to resolve unique customer issues and / or new opportunities.
- Generate revenue through the sale of services to new and existing accounts. Increase existing account revenue. Meet / exceed sales call activity goals for both new sales and retention customers.
- Achieves and exceeds budget revenue goals for new business with industrial (roll-off) customers in Routt and Moffat County.
- Work with local General contractors to identify and commercialize offerings for greater diversion at job sites that comply with State goals.
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of technical equipment and support the broader growth of Twin Enviro / Apex.
- Acquire fundamental knowledge of potential customers, pricing, and competition
- Gain an understanding of and execute Twin / Apex pricing and service strategies
- Effectively use Apex Waste Solutions sales tools (Navusoft CRM). Prepare timely and accurate sales activity reports.
- Acquire a fundamental understanding of appropriate local, state, and federal regulations
- Attend industrial sales meetings and training classes and stay engaged with the state requirements (present and future).
