Position Overview:
The Roll-Off Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and securing new customers, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and promoting roll-off waste services to businesses, contractors, and individuals. The role requires a combination of sales expertise, market knowledge, and excellent communication skills to meet or exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities for roll-off waste services.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and tailor services accordingly.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Follow up on leads and maintain a consistent pipeline of opportunities.
Proposal and Contract Management:
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients.
- Negotiate terms and pricing to secure agreements that meet company objectives.
- Ensure all sales documentation is accurate and complete.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with operations and dispatch teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Communicate customer requirements and expectations to the operations team.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue performance.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Provide regular updates and feedback to management on market conditions and customer needs.
Product Knowledge and Training:
- Maintain a thorough understanding of roll-off waste services, pricing structures, and industry trends.
- Educate clients on the benefits and features of roll-off services.
- Stay informed on competitors’ offerings to effectively position the company in the market.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Three-five years of proven experience in sales, preferably in waste management, transportation, or a related industry.
Skills:
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Work Environment:
- Combination of office work and field visits to customer locations or job sites.
- Travel within the assigned territory is required.
- May require occasional evening or weekend work to meet customer needs.
