The Compensation function contributes to the success of APi Group by developing and implementing strategies and programs that drive the performance of the business. This role is a key member of the People team and will partner with HR, finance, legal and leaders on a wide range of compensation topics and projects. This role leads broad-based compensation for APi Group, including programs, policies and strategies and will report to the VP, Total Rewards and People Operations and partner with the People team to engage our high performing leaders to deliver winning performance.Broad Based Compensation programs, processes and analysis leadershipOwn the strategy, program and policy changes for global broad-based compensation (job architecture and levels, salary structures and short-term incentive design)Ownership of key annual processes, to include annual incentive payout and merit processesLead team that executes market competitiveness reviews, FLSA and other regulatory analysis and compensation reporting and dashboard analysisPartner with finance on costing reviews and other financial impacts connected with incentive plansPartner with global compensation teams to ensure alignment where appropriateGlobal Compensation Incentive DesignLead the design of all business / OpCo level annual incentive plansPartners with business leaders to ensure designs are driving the intended business outcomesBusiness and Team LeadershipWorks directly with senior management to ensure that compensation strategy and programs support the business objectives across a diverse landscapeTravel as required to support OpCo incentive and structure developmentLead, coach, develop, and mentor a lean teamQualifications : Bachelor’s Degree Required; MBA preferredMinimum of 10 years experience in compensation, HR or finance with at least 4 years leading compensation related projects and programs; global compensation experience preferredStrong external network and professional group affiliation (i.e., Conference Board or the like)Strong analytical mindset and financial acumenStrong influence and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across boundaries and develop effective working relationships with people from diverse backgroundsProven experience leading and building highly engaged teamsGlobal awareness and cultural agilityExceptional consultation skillsBusiness Mindset and Insight; Credible Influence; HR Mastery; Professional Maturity; Navigates the Organization, Strong CollaboratorCompetencies and Skills : Effective CommunicationInfluences OthersCoaches / Develops OthersChampions ChangeThinks AnalyticallyBenefits and Compensation : This role will be eligible for hybrid work flexibility based out of our New Brighton office. The pay range is $125,000 - $175,000, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
